Come to New Jersey and celebrate Christmas early all weekend long! Christmas Con 2002 — presented by That’s 4 Entertainment — is returning to the East Coast. Get ready for lots of festive workshops, games, and other hand-on events. And, best of all, don’t miss the chance to meet all your favorite Christmas movie stars at once. Hallmark Channel mainstays Lacey Chabert and Jonathan Bennet return as headliner and host respectively. Other celebrity guests include such Lifetime and GAC TV holiday celebrities as Melissa Joan Hart, Mario Lopez, Cameron Mathison, Danica McKellar, Chad Michael Murray, Jack Wagner and many more.

Third Times A Charm

This now marks the third ever Christmas Con to be held in New Jersey. The first Christmas Con took place in 2019, featuring stars from all the biggest networks for holiday movies from Hallmark to Lifetime. Guests could partake in games, shop from local holiday vendors, and enjoy lots of seasonal delights. And what Christmas event would be complete without a special meet-and-greet with Santa?

Although COVID-19 brought things to a halt in 2020, it came back bigger and better than ever in 2021. Earlier this year, Christmas Con debuted on the West Coast with the first Christmas Con CA in Pasadena, California. At that event you even had a chance to catch Santa out of his usual Santa suit and in a comfy summer fit.

The Elf Squad has been part of each Christmas Con so far and can't wait to bring a little Christmas magic to New Jersey this December.

What to Expect at Christmas Con NJ 2022

Along with the panels, photo ops, and lots of opportunities to shop, you’ll find demos, workshops, screenings and other fun events. On Friday the 9th, sisters Jacklyn and Cassie Collier start off with a live game of Bundle. Then Bennet and Chabert will lead the annual Tree-Lighting Ceremony followed by a performance from The Village Carolers. Stick around afterwards to see Paul Greene perform live, with a special appearance by Jessica Lowndes. And don’t miss a red-carpet screening of the Hallmark original, Haul Out the Holly.

Saturday’s guests can join in on a live podcast taping of What Women Binge with Melissa Joan Hart, featuring Mario Lopez and Chabert. Then Bennet returns to host the Ugly Sweater Showdown with some very special guest judges. And don’t forget to stick around for when Christmas is Not Canceled presents Minute to Win It: Celebrity Edition — once again benefiting Toys for Tots. Then, you can end the day with a sneak peak screening of Hallmark Movies and Mysteries’ The Gift of Peace, which premiers the same day at 10PM EST. And don’t forget about Sunday, when you can witness the Battle of the Christmas Stars Family Game Night.

If you're more into the creative side of Christmas, then you’re also in luck. Take writing workshops with authors Roan Parrish, Timothy Janovsky, Codi Hall, and Juliet & Keith Giglio. Stick around to get your books signed, and watch live art demos by licensed Disney fine artist Clinton Hobart. Sunday guests can get extra screenwriting tips from Hallmark’s Anna White and Julie Sherman Wolfe, along with bestselling author Nancy Naigle. And if you’re feeling crafty, you can even partake in one of several wreath making classes happening all weekend long. We happen to know the teachers and think you will be quite happy with your custom wreaths.
