When was the last time you treated yourself to a nice night out? For everyone in New York, now is the perfect time for dinner and a show, or even lunch and a matinee. New York City is hosting the Winter 2020 editions of both Restaurant Week and Broadway Week from January 21, 2020 through February 9, 2020. That means you can get discount meals at some of the top dining spots in the city, and 2-for-1 tickets to some of the hottest shows on Broadway.

Restaurant Week

According to our research, most restaurants are offering a 2-course lunch or brunch special for $26 per person, and a 3-course dinner for $42 per person. Each participating restaurant has a special menu, which often tends to highlight their very best dishes. While there are hundreds of restaurants taking part, we’d like to recommend two of the Elf Squad favorites: Pera Mediterranean & Pera Soho.

Our Elf Squad had a wonderful time decorating both Pera locations this past holiday season. (See header image) While the wreaths and other decor have come down, their incredible Mediterranean cooking is all the reason you need to visit. We highly recommend the “lamb Adana,” which is on their Restaurant Week menu.

Broadway Week 2020

There are over 20 Broadway Shows with 2-for-1 ticket specials available. Whether you’d like an invitation to the Yule Ball to see ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ or want a visit from the ghost with the most at ‘Beetlejuice’, there is surely a show for everyone. Our Elf Squad recommends a trip to Arendelle to see ‘Frozen’ featuring our good friend Elsa.
