Since its founding in 1910, Hallmark has given us plenty of ways to celebrate the holidays. It started off with greeting cards, then gift products, collectible keepsake ornaments and plenty of other festive decor. Fast forward to present day and they’ve become a holiday entertainment giant, with three network stations, an endless amount of romantic Christmas movies, and enough stars to fill the roster of several holiday conventions. So, you might be wondering what’s next for them.
Well… why not a Christmas cruise?
Yes, you read that right. For the first time ever, the Hallmark Channel is hitting the high seas. In November of 2024, they’re taking some of their favorite Christmas movie stars and a few thousand of their biggest fans on the Norwegian Gem for a fun and festive five-day cruise experience. Guests will start off their journey by boarding this magnificent ship in Miami, Florida on the 5th. Then they’ll set sail to Nassau Island in the Bahamas for a full day of fun in the sun before heading back up on the 9th. While there’s no word yet on which stars will be on board, there’s already so much to look forward to on this merry maritime adventure.

Throughout your five-day excursion, you’ll have the opportunity to attend numerous panels and photo ops — giving you the chance to meet all your favorites. Guests will even get the rare opportunity to attend the exclusive Countdown to Christmas World Premiere, right there on the Norwegian Gem. And there are lots of fun activities for the whole family such as cookie decorating, arts and crafts, and some Christmas carol-oke. And we can’t forget about the ugly sweater contest — so make sure you pack yours. And when the adults need a break, they can enjoy wine-tastings with Hallmark’s line of premium wines.
Once you’re on Nassau Island, you’ll find yourself in a different kind of wonderland. Ditch the snow and lose yourself in its stunning beaches and vibrant culture, all while indulging in the most amazing food and drink. Despite the warm temperatures, palm trees, and crystal clear waters, you’ll see there’s no shortage of Christmas cheer anywhere on this island.
