Christmas comes early to UPtv this year, in the form of 17 upcoming holiday movies. Their biggest line-up ever starts early November and ends Christmas Day, giving us almost two full months of. It’s all part of what the network is calling their “Most UPlifting Christmas Ever.” Because as Hector Campos — the network’s VP of Content Strategy and Acquisition — explains, packing on the cheer and festivities is more important than ever this year.
“With so many people needing to scale back in different ways this holiday season, we wanted to deliver an abundance of Christmas programming so uplifting, holiday cheer was plentiful for our viewers. We have a diverse slate with something for everyone this Christmas season.” Hector Campos
Viewers can also expect plenty of special programming for these upcoming holidays. First up is country music star Josh Turner’s Christmas music special, King Size Manger, on November 18th. Next is the network’s annual Gilmore Girls Thanksgiving Marathon — aka ‘GilMORE the Merrier’ — starting on November 21st. And the Elf Squad is really looking forward to Season Two of Small Town Christmas, which showcases celebrations in small towns all across the USA. In addition to all the movies and tv specials, there will also be a $10,000 sweepstakes — with another $10,000 will go to a charity of the winner’s choice. With all this, plus weekly interactive parties, we’re in for a truly fun and festive time.
